Christy's Steam C.C. uses the only method of cleaning recommended by the carpet manufactures. Hot water extraction or sometimes referred to as steam cleaning. When performed properly hot water extraction is the only method that will improve the health and appearance of your carpet. How often should I have my carpets cleaned? High traffic areas should be cleaned every three to six months. All other areas should be cleaned every six months to one year depending on traffic, spots, and spills. Does Christy's move furniture? The technician will move some furniture. Our technicians reserve the right not to move any piece of furniture or household object that they do not feel comfortable moving. Should I move anything? Yes, you should remove from the area being cleaned all nick-knacks and any breakable items. How long will it take for my carpets to dry? Our drying typically range from 2-3 hours. However dry times can be effected by other factors including weather and humidity. When can I walk on my carpets? You can walk on your carpets immediately! Although it could affect drying time, and is not recommended. Are our cleaning products safe? Yes, our products are manufacture recommended for fabric and upholstery professional cleaning. Are your cleaning technicians experienced? Yes, our technicians have the latest equipment, solutions and processes. They are certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) Will all spots and stains be removed from my carpets? There is an important distinction between a spot and a stain. A spot will remove a stain will not. Some spots will not come out with routine cleaning and may require additional attention.
